General

The EA-GLCD2 AP series provide an uninterruptible power source for critical equipment to cover failures in the mains supply.

The units can protect connected systems against power failure, undervolt- age and overvoltage.

Functional principle

The units work with the line interactive principle in the voltage independent (VI) category. The output voltage is stabilised and filtered by passing the input power through a converter with buck-and-boost switching.

At the same time, DC current is generated to charge the accumulators. In case of a power failure these accumulators provide power via the con- verter to the connected consumers.

Mains stabilisation (AVR)

The built-in automatic voltage control enables the units to compensate un- dervoltages and overvoltages. Thus the unit can be employed as a mains stabiliser.

Protections

All models of the series have protection and filter functions, such as under- and overvoltage compensation and peak voltage damping.

Power outlets

User equipment can be connected by either an IEC connec- tion or a Schuko socket.

Interface

A communication port for USB interface and USB cable are included.

Software

A software (Windows, Linux, MacOS) for monitoring of the uninterrupted power supply is included.
